The first Rutherford County Historical Society Publication was issued June, 1973.  Over the years, wonderful historical articles, genealogy, legends, stories, etc., about Rutherford County have appeared in the many publication offerings of the Society.  Many of these publications are still available for purchase, unless the publications is noted as out of print.  The following is a list of topics from these publications.  Unless otherwise stated, each numbered publication book (e.g., Pub. No. 17) may be purchased for $5, plus $3 shipping and handling.  Frow Chips (FC), a semi-monthly newsletter, began in 1971.  Only issues beginning with Volume 31, Issue 6, March/April 2002 up to the present are available for purchase for $4 (mailing included).  Unnumbered publications may be purchased at stated price.
